During our family getaway near Rome, we discovered an absolute gem-the Casale! Nestled in a charming old manor with a sprawling garden, it is an ideal base for families. The kids relished their own space in the apartment, complete with our private garden where they could run free with our dogs. The manager, Dill, was exceptionally welcoming, offering us fresh veggies and eggs from his farm! We loved how convenient the location was for day trips. We made the journey to nearby Nemi, a quaint town perfect for a leisurely stroll, and took a quick train ride into central Rome-just 20 minutes for only €2. On days we returned from exploring, the pool provided a refreshing oasis for the kids to unwind. While the kitchen was simple and the WiFi a bit spotty, we didn't mind as we enjoyed local meals out. The laid-back atmosphere, coupled with a friendly environment for both kids and pets, made our stay memorable. We're already planning our return! 🦘🌿.
